Here are a selection of questions that we often get asked, there may be something below that you would like to know or this may just help to make your decision that bit easier. If there is anything you would like to know that we haven't covered please contact us and we will add it to the list.
Q. I'd like my company logo to be embroidered, how should I supply the design?
A. We can work with something as simple as a jpeg file so long as you can make out all of the design detail when zoomed in. Simply upload your jpeg once you have chosen your items.
Q. How do you want the design for screenprint?
A. You can supply as hi-res jpeg, .eps or a PSD file if your order is going to be screenprinted. The better quality the artwork is the better the print will come out, up to 150dpi.
Q. I only have the logo that's on my website can you work with that?
A. Yes we can however it may need to be redrawn to remove the blurred edges into an .eps file. This costs £20.00 and we will send you a copy of the redrawn design so you have it for future use.
Q. Why is the set up cost for screen printing so much more expensive?
A. Screen printing is a labourious process and requires a lot of manual set up making screens and aligning the colours, once the design is set up it is a very fast method and that is why it is suited to large runs of 100+. Set up is charged at £20.00 per colour in the design on light garment with an extra screen required for darker garments to create an underbase.
Q. If I order my embroidered uniform now when can I expect delivery?
A. Our turnaround for dispatch is 5 working days from your approval of artwork.
Q. What is my artwork approval form & when will I be sent it?
A. This is a PDF that we will email you within 1 working day of you making your order and payment. We send this so that you can double check position, thread or print colours and of course your design itself just in case anything has been miss interpreted and so that we can scan a human eye over the order and make sure everything you would like is possible.
Q. Why do I have to wait 5 working days from approval?
A. We organise production space based only on the orders that are fully approved, until then the order will be placed into an awaiting approval file so there is no way it can be incorrectly decorated.
Q. I am only ordering plain items with no print or embroidery, when will they arrive?
A. If you place your order before 15:00 Monday-Friday they will be dispatched that day and delivered before 12 the next working day.
Q. Whats the maximum size I can have my logo?
A. Our maximum size for embroidery is 250mm across, for heatseal it is 330mm across, screen print is 350mm across. More detailed information is listed for all types of decoration in our services.
Q. I'm after a few different types of items but can't decide on print or embroidery?
A. It is entirely up to you but we would recommend printing if the design is going onto lighter weight garments like a t-shirt. Fleeces can only be embroidered due to the pile and type of material so worth considering if you want all items to have the same type of branding on them.
Q. Do you offer a charity discount?
A. Yes, if you are a registered charity we offer an additional 10% off our website prices. Give us a call with your registered charity number and we will provide you with a discount code for the site.
