To avoid any unnecessary charges or delays and to ensure you receive the highest quality decoration please review our artwork guidelines below.

Should you not have the artwork in a format suitable for decoration we can convert (re-draw) your file to a suitable type for a fee (from £20.00 + VAT)

We will of course discuss with you prior to any work taking place.

Print

An EPS file is the preferred file type for print, this is because we need your artwork to be a vectorised file. It is easy to tell the difference between vectors and other formats; when you zoom into a vector you will see no jagged edges or distortion. However, when you zoom into a bitmap, the image and edges will look blocky.

Please don't create a bitmap file and then save it as an EPS file, it is still a bitmap and would be unusable unless we re-draw it.

Pantone Spot Colours

For screen-print, all colours will need to be converted to spot colours. This can be done within your preferred software programme; please refer to the software handbook or take a look online for further details.

When we screen-print, the machine will print colours individually so one colour first, then additional colour and so forth. This is why we would need you to send colour separated files. We can then easily print out the files in colour separation films.

Screen-print has a minimum order quantity of 50 items per design so is an excellent choice for bigger runs.

Embedding fonts and converting fonts to curves (or paths)

If your logo has any fonts in it, then these would need be converted to curves (or converted to paths- depending on your software package). Put simply, this means that the font is converted to a graphic object and can’t be changed.  This needs to be done otherwise when we receive the file and don't have the equivalent font, we wouldn’t be able to match your artwork.

Embroidery

With embroidery, we can accept all file types listed previously, provided that the resolution is high quality. For all new customers, there is a one-off fee of £15.00 + VAT for logos or images to be digitised. Digitised artwork files will be held on your account for your future orders.

Artwork Approvals

Once you have placed your order, within 24 hours you will receive an artwork approval form from us.  This will show you exactly how your design looks on your chosen items, please ensure you click through to accept or make changes to your artwork.
